About
I'm Tony Nguyen, a technical lead and product engineer in Los Angeles. I build scalable frontends for high-traffic sites and ship products from zero to one.
I've worked across media and sports. I lead engineering for the revamped Fox.com and Fox One DTC experience, brought Webflow into the workflow so marketing and legal could ship without engineering, and built internal tooling to speed up releases. At the NFL I enhanced and maintained NFL.com and built the Live Draft Strip ticker for Draft Day 2018. I also drove docs and best practices and mentored the web team.
Outside of that I build my own products. SellTheFlip helps resellers cross-list across marketplaces. HairMet is a free tool that compares two websites across 16 categories and 160+ metrics.
I care about performance, accessibility, and clean architecture. I write when I have something useful to say about frontend, leadership, or shipping.
